The Artega company was founded in Germany

by Klaus Frers in 2006 but filled for

bankruptcy in 2012. The GT was Artega`s

first and only model with production up to

500 unites a year. It featured a rear VW

engine in a spaceframe chassis with a carbon

fibre body making for lightweight and good

handling.

In a rare outing then Uwe Nittel and 3 other

drivers brought a GT home 11th in class in

the `SP7` Class at the 2011 Nurburgring 24

hours. The other 12 class finishers were all

Porsches.
